Happy Labor Day Weekend friends!
I have a ton of my plate right now, and it is not fried chicken and corn on the cob like most of my Labor Day weekends.
This weekend for me is about labors of love, that ones only get done, with time on target. I am working tonight (jamming to Tom Petty) on building my future, building my family’s future.
I do not believe that you have to be a workaholic for dreams to come true, but I do think sometimes you need to stay in, get focused and get to work.
Two projects are due to myself on September 1st (aka tomorrow), so tonight, these labors of love will be born. One just finished, so you are an amazing break to my mind and my heart knowing you are out there. Thank you!
It is funny, I know these are just self imposed deadlines, but if I can’t be accountable to myself, who can I be accountable to? I am where I am supposed to be right now. That feels really good.
My wish for you over this long weekend is you spend time appreciating what you have, who you have, where you are, and do something for yourself, a labor of love, something that tomorrow makes you say thank you.
Trust me, if you love it, it’s the right thing, and it doesn’t feel like labor at all.
